Welcome
Poppleton Road Out of School Club is a not for profit organisation and was formed in 1997 by parents from the school who saw the need for such a valuable service. Since then we have provided Breakfast Club, After School Club for children at Poppleton Road Primary School, and our Holiday Club facilities are also open to children from other schools (aged 4 to 14yrs)
The club is run by a Voluntary management Committee, and our staff are an enthusiastic team of childcare professionals, playworkers who have a minimum of Level 2 in Childcare, first aid qualifications and all are CRB checked.

Our last Ofsted inspection was in the November 2015, when their judgement was "requires Improvement"
An action plan has been drawn up to address the shortfalls which mainly lie in our management systems, including staff appraisals and committee membership.
Please do speak with Kathryn,Victoria or a member of committee for more information.

COMMITTEE
Our club committee is made up of volunteer parents and we are always looking for members who have skills which would benefit the club, and therefore in turn benefit theschool and its pupils.
We meet once a month, and work to plan and manage holiday activities and spending, organise fundraising events, and provide ongoing support and management to the team of staff.
Our main focus 2015/6 is to fund and plan for development of the new Annex, to extend club.
If you have any skills in the above areas and would like to join us please make contact!
