Poppleton Road Out of School Club is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO for short) which means we're a limited organisation with charitable status.

We were formed in 1997 by parents from the school who saw the need for such a valuable service. Since then we have provided Breakfast Club and After School Club for children at Poppleton Road Primary school, and our Holiday Club facilities are also open to children from other schools (aged 3 to 12yrs)

The club is run by a Voluntary management Committee and Board of Trustees and are governed by the Charity Commission.

Our staff are an enthusiastic team of experienced childcare playworkers, with a minimum of Level 2 in Childcare, first aid qualifications and all are DBS checked (formerly CRB).

Our most recent Ofsted inspection was on 20th February 2019. We are pleased to say that we were judged to be Good.

​OUR COMMITTEE
Our club committee is made up of volunteer parents and we are always looking for members! Any parent whose child attends Poppy Road Out of School Club is very welcome to join at any time.

We meet once every month.
